How do I look after my jewellery?

The best advice for keeping the beauty of artificial jewellery is to keep it clean and dry. Exposing fashion jewellery to any type of beauty products, oils or water are accelerators of tarnishing. So make sure to always remove your jewellery before applying cream, perfume or when you wash your hands. If you have booked a make-up artist for your hair and make-up styling, do cover up your jewellery to avoid hairspray residue on your jewellery. When not in use, make sure your jewellery is kept safe and dry in jewellery boxes.

Can I return my jewellery if it changes colour?

As mentioned in the previous section it is important to take care of your jewellery. To maintain the beauty of your items please remove items before spraying chemicals such as perfume and hair sprays and remove while exercising, swimming and showering. It is recommended that your jewellery from Nina’s Favourites should avoid contact with harsh chemicals perfumes, lotions or hair products, as these may damage the layer of metal plating and cause discolouration.

Each persons oils make metal react differently, if discolouration occurs it may be due to skin-metal oil reaction. In this case, it is not our responsibility to refund or exchange your item. Nina’s Favourites is not responsible for the maintenance of your jewellery.
